Choosing songs for your special day

Walking down the aisle and having your first dance are probably the most important 'musical moments' of the day. It is best to choose a song that you both really love or that has significant meaning for you. All other songs that you will choose (signing papers, cake cutting etc) are really just songs to create the right atmosphere for that moment. If you can't decide on a song, don't stress, we are more than happy to choose one for you to fit the vibe.

Live or Spotify?
This is totally up to you, we can of course do a cover of your chosen song, it may not be exactly the same but we do our best to perform the song to the version you have requested. Alternatively if you want to hear the original song from the original artists that is fine too, we will download that song and have it ready to play for you at the right time.

TIPS FOR EACH MOMENT

Aisle Song

You can of course have 1 song, or you might want two, one for the bridesmaids and one for the bride. Just keep in mind, how long it will take to walk down the aisle, and how long or short the song is.

Signing Papers

Whilst you are busy doing all things legal, this song is a nice song to play in the background while the paperwork is completed. It is always good to choose 2 songs as sometimes this can take longer than one song to get all of that paperwork done.

Ceremony Exit

Choose an upbeat song that starts with a bang for your ceremony exit as everyone is usually shouting and cheering as you exit your ceremony. This is when the celebrations officially begin!

Reception Entrance

What song is your ultimate party song? Pick that one! We always recommend playing the original on Spotify as we always work with your MC to announce the bridal party and that usually has us
adjusting the volume up and down a little.

Cake Cutting

Again this is a song to keep the atmosphere going while you cut the cake and take some photos. Depending on where you do this in the schedule of the night, this could be a slower or faster song. Up to you!

First Dance

This song really is about YOU TWO! You are in each others arms, looking at only one another, its the most intimate moment that you get to share as newly weds. Make this one a special song. You may have choreography or you may just want to freestyle it! The choice is yours. It is also common to invite all of your bridal party up on the dance floor to join you towards the end of the song.

Father Daughter Dance

This one is not for everyone, but for those brides who do want to have this moment with their dad, from our experience we suggest having the father daughter dance first then your first dance as
husband and wife after, as usually everyone gets up to join you on the dance floor after the first dance and it is the best time to kick off the dance floor with party tunes!

Bouquet & Garter Toss

Not everyone wants to do this, but if you do, definitely make it fun! Choose a song that you can really have fun with.

HERE ARE SOME GREAT SONG SUGGESTIONS BELOW.
