This is a booking agreement between

The Artist 'Manū Music' and 'The Client'

  For valuable consideration, the client agrees to the following: 

  1. No dates will be held or locked in until the Booking Agreement is signed and deposit is received by Manū Music. Once this deposit is received, it is NON-REFUNDABLE.

  2. You CANNOT DOWNGRADE your package once it is booked (eg. cannot decrease from duo to solo or 8 hour to 5 hours) however you can request to upgrade which will be subject to availability.

  3. Remaining balance must be paid 7 days before the day of the wedding or event. 

  4. If you cancel booking within 7 days of the event, the FULL PACKAGE AMOUNT IS TO BE PAID and is NON-REFUNDABLE. If you cancel within the month before event, 50% OF THE PACKAGE AMOUNT IS TO BE PAID and is NON-REFUNDABLE.

  5. Manū Music has the right to replace any artist with someone from the Manū Music team if original artist booked cannot attend for any reason. 

  6. Power must be supplied by the venue & within reasonable distance. We do offer a battery powered option for the ceremony only but this must be specified 1 month prior to date of event.

  7. A suitable area (reasonably flat) with shade or shelter, to protect against rain or harsh sun must be provided. No electrical equipment will be set up if there is any chance it may get wet or overheat.

  8. It is preferred to do a maximum of 2 set ups however if 3 is needed, understand this will take time and could result in less performance time.

  9. A MINIMUM OF 45 MINUTES IS REQUIRED BETWEEN SET UPS (providing there is minimal distance between locations).

  10. Meals & drinks must be provided per person booked to perform.

  11. Any photos or footage taken by Manū Music throughout the day / night, are allowed to be shared on all social media platforms for promotion. If you do not want this, PLEASE ADVISE.

  12. As part of our packages, the artist will LEARN ONE SPECIAL SONG per wedding (Aisle, First Dance etc.). We ask all SPECIAL SONGS you want performed live by Manū Music MUST BE finalised and confirmed at least 28 DAYS PRIOR to wedding date. Any other special songs the artist does not know will be played through Spotify.

  13. If the artist does not feel that they can do the song justice (meaning confidently perform it to the standard expected), you will be notified ASAP and we will play the original song for you through Spotify.

  14. We ask your preference of artist but cannot guarantee it will be them performing for your booking. If you only want to book with a specific artist from the Manū Music team, please specify.

  15. 2 hours return travel is included in the package prices (based on a return trip from Ormeau). ANY EXTRA TRAVEL IS CHARGED AT $100 PER HOUR. Also, any extra travel costs must be covered by client (flights, ferries etc).

  16. For all interstate or international bookings, travel and accommodation must be covered by the client.

  17. If the artist is required to stay overnight an additional fee of $200 is required, per performer. If any trip is longer than a 2.5 hour drive from Pimpama overnight accomodation is required.

  18. All communication will be kept in writing through the Booking Form, Booking Agreement or via emails for any further communication. Please avoid making last minute changes via text. 

  19. We ask the run sheet for your event to be provided no later than 14 days prior.

  20. After the deposit has been paid, your final invoice will be sent 1 month prior to the event and this is due 7 days before the event. WE ARE UNABLE TO RECEIVE FINAL BALANCE PRIOR TO THIS.

  21. As mentioned, DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE, which means if you cancel your wedding, you forfeit your deposit. In the unlikely event you need to postpone your wedding, we will hold onto your deposit and you are able to rebook another date 12 months on from the original event date. Should we not be available, nor can we provide an artist from our team, you will forfeit your deposit. 

  22. If a pandemic or a situation similar to COVID occurs and bookings need to be postponed out of our control, all deposits will be kept and all dates will be rescheduled & fulfilled by Manū Music. 

 

Once this agreement has been signed, you will receive an Invoice for deposit within 48 hours.
